Tips:

Who is the Licensed Master Plumber?

The licensed master plumber is a person who has been tested by your city, town, or state. The tests ensure that the applicant has become an expert on the plumbing and gas codes serving that area, codes that protect your health and your home's structural integrity.

The master plumber is a tradesman who was first an apprentice, then a journeyman, accumulating years of hands-on experience under the supervision of a master plumber.

The master plumber is not a handyman or a person claiming to know how to do plumbing.  A lot of home owners are fooled by these impostors and pay the price.

New York City requires it's licensed plumbers to have seven years of plumbing experience before they qualify to be tested. The city does a thorough background investigation which includes finger printing.  New York City is responsible for the people they license and this protects you. Insist on a Licensed Plumber to perform your plumbing and gas work.
